ypsilanti's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mayday ten minutes into the first day of may. everything happens today. it's the last hour. it's the first hour. i somehow bit my tongue in my sleep, and it just hurts worse and worse and worse by the minute. we played in rochester new york last night, a ridiculous hellride. 7 hours there, through canada, and 7 or 8 hours back, stopping for a couple hours to play in a weird university cafeteria for about twenty people. i love playing on the floor, though. we leave for tour tommorow. lovesick's third and hopefully least ridiculous venture out to rock the road. i miss my friends who are out east right now. i miss everyone i'm not going to see all summer. i feel sometimes like i've forgotten how to be a person, and now i just produce things or take care of tasks or commitments. we had a cool time today, eating lunch together and trying to work it out. sometimes it's time to stop, sometimes you got to try more. should you break it up? rock for light. in your heart you truly know what's right. in your heart you know the truth. i found the sweater i thought was lost forever, someone having put it in the coat closet i never go into. also in there was gretchen's red scarf, last used as a guitar strap at a midnights show in early january. if there's something you think you really lost and fucked up forever, you probably just put it somewhere you haven't thought about looking, or somewhere you haven't even remembered existed. i need some help remembering what life is really like, because i presently feel very little connection to my own. i just want to cuddle, you know? happy birthdate. i love you. ******* listen to: tracy and the plastics, viki, v for vendetta, jennifer lopez, non, teenage fanclub, make out dreams, chris bell, cynthia wilson. 12:10 a.m. - 1.5.01 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
