ypsilanti's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

like it's going out of style

quit the dayjob and re-open the furniture resale business, the end of an era is forthcoming. the newspaper columns are ready and aimed, but there's an ink shortage that will put the great blackout of 2003 to shame. i saw some video footage from that day of a lady i was drinking and smoking with just a week prior, and i swear to god i think she was wearing a wig when we met in that hazy august night. i suppose it's all the same, hair of the dog or horse hair.

the old news is the regular now news, and it's ok to say no. it's better to say no. it's not only all been done before, and better, and less ridiculously, but the waste and refuse from when it was done before still clutters the veins of time, making it hard to move around in the present state. votes are in for 2004 being the worst year ever, and even the wicked agree with the righteous on this one.

all the pillars will fall, and even the most decorated soldier will turn into a salt statue. to scrap all that we once belived would save us, because it's clear now that nothing can save us but new ideas of what it means to be saved. no satisfaction will ever make the world stop spinning, even for a minute. the end is near.

turquoise, blue and new maroon.
